work is going on very fast














Work is going at good pace and about 500 laboures are woking in different parts of the canal and about 5 to 10 heavy machines are working.But they are making very much pollution along side of the road.

This pix I took while cycling to capture the PC Hotel near Kashmiri Pul (bridge). This is a small pedetrian and semi-pedestrian bridge. The view of the canal from here was spectacular. Like the Lahore Canal and Canal Road, no one has ever thought to design a park or promenades near the canal. The road is narrow, two laned. With better planning, more people can be brought to sit during summers and winters along the canal fromt he surrounding neighbourhoods.
