The Defence Authority Country & Golf Club is laid out on an area of 130 Acres. It has 18 holes and its par value is 72 strokes. Total yardage of the course is 6693 yards. The course was laid out by Mr. Donald Steel, a well known British golf course architect. It was developed in two phases. First 9 holes were opened to public on 28 April 1997 in Phase-I. Back 9 holes were developed in Phase-II and were inaugurated on 30 August 1998. The facilities available at that time were, a snack bar, practice range and the course itself. Later,an administration block and club house were constructed to match it with other golf courses in the country. Defence Authority Country & Golf Club is affiliated with Pakistan Golf Federation and Sindh Golf Association. The Club holds major tournaments whenever deputed by various golf organizations.The DHA Marina Club is planned to shif to a new site over-looking the blue waters of Korangi Creek right in the picturesque setting of the Creek City. This club would be providing the facilities of Diving, Fishing, Water Skiing, Rowing, Sailing, Yachting, Canoeing, Wind Surfing and Para Sailing etc. There is a plan for holding Sailing Courses and Championships. The Marina Club facility would also be available for parties and musical concerts as well as other cultural activities
Progress – Creek Vistas
1. Creek City Project is progressing in the way, as it has been
envisaged. By grace of Allah, project team is confidant to
achieve the results as promised to our worthy allotties.
We have progressed in following field till today:-
a. Awarding of contract for Creek Vistas to the well reputed
contractors.
b. Mobilization of the contractors / consultants on site.
c. DHA has established its own construction management
team on site.
d. Dedicated and highly qualified staff from DHA side has
appointed to over see the project.
e. Well netted system for dewatering is laid out so that
progress on piling continue with out any hindrance.
