Construction of parking lots in H-9 bazaar soon

Capital Development Authority (CDA) would construct parking lots in H-9 weekly bazaar to redress the parking problem.
Giving details of the project CDA spokesman Mustafain Kazmi told this agency that the authority would start the construction of these lots from next month.
He said that parking lots will have the capacity to accommodate almost 1,000 vehicles and would also help solving traffic problem around the bazaar.
“CDA was committed to provide all kinds of facilities to the residents of the federal capital,” he said.
He said that the civic body was well aware of the parking problems in the weekly bazaars, as a large number of residents visit these bazaars for their daily needs.
He said that CDA has reconstructed the weekly bazaars and provided facilities to the disabled to enjoy shopping on their wheel chairs.
He further disclosed that the authority was also planning to establish more bazaars for the citizens in the capital in addition to the improvement in the existing.
The spokesman asked the citizens to extend their cooperation in making the capital cleaner and greener.
