Description: Located in the heart of the old city, it is an open square in the center of witch stood memories to Col. E.C. Hasting who died in 1884. It was replaced by a new memorial to commemorate the horses of the 1965 Indo-Pak war. It is the “speaker corner” of the Peshawar where political meeting are held. The waste side in lined with shop and stalls of money changers with there display of currencies. Roads from Chowk Yaders lead to the Gold milt Bazaar, Kutchery Gate, Kotwail Darwaza and the Clock Tower.
