The company, vision & mission
Qurtaba city is a project of m/s. Madinatul ilm, a company registered under the companies' ordinance with the government of Pakistan. Madinatul ilm is a non profitable company having the vision that widening gap between societies and religions shall require in near future a demonstrated solution proposed by the Islam to help keep the globe a humanly place to live-in and therefore the mission has been defined as provision of a venue to let prosper a Muslim society with state-of-art education and research facility.
The founder directors of the company are country's well renowned entrepreneurs and are also playing a leading role for a focused community of the country, inland and abroad, desirous about mission and goal of the company.
The project, Qurtaba City
The facility is being designed and constructed on modern technology with state of the art civic facilities. In addition to the basic facilities, city shall host full-fledged University and a gigantic Masjid. Islam shall operate the University and Masjid as central hub to disburse the knowledge and peace as desired.
The city is proposed to encompass about 27000 kanal of land and shall host about 0.25 million citizens utilizing 66% of the land for residential and commercial purpose, thereby providing 37500 housing units of various sizes of 500 yard, 250 yard and 125 yard.
The project is located near chakri interchange on motorway, about 45km from Islamabad falling in the Rawalpindi district. Right now land purchase for phase 1 is complete and development of master plan is underway. Country's best engineers and town planners are employed for professional input.

Qurtaba City – engineering & operational overview
The engineering consultant has been assigned to design Qurtaba City with International University and a huge central Masjid as the focal point of Qurtaba City. Both facilities shall properly interact to help achieve the goals of Madinatul Ilm. The consultant shall design the city on modern technology. It shall have following major civic facilities;
Road network & infrastructure, water supply system, sewerage disposal system, underground electricity supply system, telephone facility, natural gas supply, public buildings, horticulture with drip irrigation system, security wall and arrangements, solid waste disposal system, street lights, access roads, bus stops, road markings and direction boards, special picnic spots along sill river.
Madinatul Ilm shall maintain and operate all civic facilities. There shall be building bye laws and civic bye laws as well. Various standard energy efficient house designs for different plot sizes shall be provided along with in-house architectural counseling.
Residential Facilities
Madinatul Ilm is responsible to manage all the given facilities to the resident. For this a special performa will be designed on which all the residential are bound to act.

Zoning and Town planning with approval to TMA
As like the basic design of the project, well-known and recognizable consultant M/s NESPAK made a comprehensive zoning plan. As the completion of land purchasing of the 1st phase, town planning of this phase started. Now this town planning is submitted to related authority for approval.
Plot allotment
After the approval of the town planning more plots will be offered for booking along with new pricing and procedure of allotment will also be defined.

Madinatul Ilm
A group consisting of handsome number of intellects from all walks of life like religion, society, history, health, engineering, finance and economy, human development and dwelling gathered from all over the country in October 2000 in Islamabad. Deliberation over the global societal changes summarized that widening gap between Societies and Religions shall require in near future a demonstrated solution proposed by the Islam to help keep the Globe a humanly place to live-in. The think tank arrived at the proposed to develop a venue where Muslim Society could prosper with state-of-art Education and Research facility.
The proposal was a big challenge which was placed before the gathering of hundreds of thousand people on 29th of October 2000 By the grace of God, the proposal was responded by the public by accepting the challenge and Madinatul Ilm came into being. Madinatul Ilm is now a company incorporated with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under section 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984 as a no loss no profit based entity.
Madinatul Ilm has sponsored various projects including QURTABA City to achieve its goals.

Progress
Right now completion of land purchase is in progress. Land of a part of the area earmarked for the project has been consolidated.
Engineering Design, Zone Planning & Master Plan
Our Consultants M/s. NESPAK have developed a Zoning Plan for whole of the project and a Detailed Master Plan for the consolidated piece of land has been developed.
Approval from Town Municipal Administration
The planning has been submitted to Town Municipal Administration (TMA) for approval and by the Grace of GOD NOC has been obtained and further Development has been started.
