The Arena 3D cinema
NOTE:
A lot happened in the past few years. We designed structures from minimal to Retro and from post modern to vintage. As we got this project ‘The Arena” couple of months ago by Ali Ishaq, we desired to break the indigenous standards of interior policies dwelling in Pakistan all together. Travelled all around the world and visited various spot / nightclubs/malls in search of design patterns and arrangements which is just too much for human perceptiveness in Pakistan. Why this?
Because in Cinema, what we believe is that designers can experiment in every aspect. They can create totally new design philosophy, where people just couldn’t understand it initially but slowly it grows on them and their mind. Which was mostly happening worldwide in various countries. Not on our soil.
It’s the same thing when a person enters “Manhattan” coming from JFK for the first time and looks at 100 of beautiful buildings, different in nature, colour and design. Still the overall image of such marvelous creation by Humans charms him. Well there are billions of other examples like this in architecture/interiors throughout the world, which is mesmerizing.

“Why is that? “That’s the question we always thought about. Finding the answer for this we had to plunge into countless possibilities.
“In Arena we wanted to rebel from the native choices and erect some thing, which people can relate to various things or time frame. They will initially call it over done or plentiful, which we want to. But that’s certain when they step into the site physically. They will forget about the exterior world and look at each and every section eagerly and enter in a movie of their own
” That’s what our design philosophy was”.
