NOVEMBER 2005

I heard there were about 700 piles that were to be dug inorder to tranfer the load of the superstructure above. You can see for yourself the larger number of piles over here.

I went to the site office today. During the conversation I got to know that the number of storey in the two tower is now 20 although the structure is designed for 24 storeys. After the 8th Oct Earthquake the design was re-evaluated and therefore getting to the conclusion that the dead load will eventually be too much with additional number of storeys, n raft foundation would therefore need redesigning aswell which wouldnt be possible once the building gets completed now there will b 20 storeys constructed in the ISE TOWERS!

hmmm.....
This Building is growing up fast now. Almost 2 months since my last tour and two three floors more have been added to the previous levels. Now the structure is making a prominent presence in the Blue Area depicting the construction development.

Juss a good news to all the members n guests! This is one of the best projects ive ever cn in the whole life. The project is going at the fastest pace right now. I couldnt believe myself what I say yesterday. 2months back they had constructed 4-5 floors, but recetly they have completed 9-10 storeys. The pace is going like 15 days to 1 floor!!! I was really amazed to c the shape of the tower growing n growing. By the next time i provide some visuals, there would be having 11 or 12 floors! With this pace they will complete the overall structural height of the building, exluding the exterior and other works, by OCT 2007 I guess.

Telecom Tower is still in the basements. Their progress is very slow!

Salam,

What about ISE towers Techno? It seems that the progress on them is faster. Are they building both towers together, or one by one?

Peace.

If u c the model is post 1, they are not actually two towers, but one, and since there are larger halls and open spaces on each floor it is easier to consruct or place pre-cast walls onto the site. Ill get some pix on my next visit.

Salam,

Oh my. That is so right. I thought it was two towers, but now that I see it carefully, they are joined together and are one indeed.

Thanks for clarification. They do look nice in design.

Peace.
